Patti Carey from Northcott Silk Inc. came to our store on June 7, 2004 to demonstrate "How to baste a Quilt" She has been with Northcott for 16 years heading up the sample department. She decides how each collection will be sampled and with which co-ordinating fabrics. She also designs the booth for the semi-annual trade show and makes up 18 or so quilts that are part of the display using the newest collection of fabrics.

She also organizes all of the advertising that Northcott does with the various quilting magazines. Patti designs and publishes a number of quilting patterns which also have been in the various quilting magazines.

This seminar was free to all with 35 ladies attending.
